I am an immigrant living in Australia (born in Quezon City, Philippines) and as you have probably heard, we are branded ‘the lucky country’. Know who you are & make use of where you are. If you were an immigrant in the western world like myself & my family, you shouldn’t mistake indications of lack & that you are in a very good, safe & resource-full place of residence & home like what Australia truly is. Being diligent enough, whilst being aware of your personal limitations, means there’s supply where there is demand, & this is enough to use as leverage to a successful life, whether in workplaces and/or our own personal & social circles. This is a generation that means working not only harder but also smarter. In this way, we can be expectant of better returns, no matter the nature of our jobs. Tap into your given resources & be a participant of the advantages & open your eyes to the abundance & affluence of your environment which will reveal itself to you when you know how to apply yourself in an age where 'full volume' is daily & nothing less.
